Myra Denman resides in the Tampa Bay area and is an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Florida. She received her BA from Villanova University and her Juris Doctorate from The University of Miami School of Law in 2003. After practicing general liability and family law, and experiencing the heartbreak individuals go through during the divorce process, Myra felt something was missing from her practice. She began searching for a means to help and support her clients going through this extraordinarily difficult time that was not being fulfilled through the typical attorney client relationship.

Having gone through her own divorce, she understood how overwhelming and frightening the process could be, especially for the children involved. In her search to bridge the gap between the role of the attorney and the emotional support piece which seemed to be missing, she came across the field of divorce coaching. She immediately knew this was what she had been looking for. Myra obtained her divorce coaching certification through the CDC Certified Divorce Coaching Program, and now works with clients all over the country to help them successfully navigate their divorce, and create the life they want to live. Myra's continued success in divorce coaching was recognized early on when she was asked by the CDC to serve as a mentor for other coaches enrolled in the CDC program. As a mentor, Myra helps guide students as they attain their certification while supporting them as they begin their journey in the increasingly important field of divorce coaching.

While Myra is an advocate of marriage and engages with her clients through reconciliation when possible, it is her passion to yield change within the family court system and harmonize the dissolution process. She believes a large part of facilitating this change comes through educating others regarding the forward movement currently evolving in divorce trends. Myra's message is that families have more options when it comes to restructuring their lives. These options enable empowerment for the individual members of the family, as well as the family as a whole.

When clients utilize Myra as their divorce coach they become armed with a think tank of possibilities that was previously unavailable to them or this information came at a cost prohibitive price. Things can now be done differently which ultimately translates into more harmonious and far more cost effective dissolution processes. Once the ball gets rolling and divorce looks and feels differently for individuals and children, the momentum picks up. It is her passion to be a part of the wave that eliminates the shame and guilt of a mechanism that was not intended to create such. Divorce is the acknowledgement that something was not working coupled with a willingness to make it better than it was before.

Divorce is not the end of a family; it is the restructuring of one.
